Thank you for the article about the noxious trend in US bashing prevalent in the UK. This UK citizen would have no hesitation in taking a US passport in place of his current British one, and is more than tired of the constant anti American attitudes promulgated on the BBC and elsewhere.
My own experience of the American people has been akin to that of Ms Gould. I have been, more than once, ashamed on my return to the UK by the behaviour of my fellow citizens here, not only towards American visitors, but to each other. Thanks once again for writing the article.
