Re the article on Lord Levy:
In answer to the question of why a Hindu organization would give money to a Jewish charity? It's interesting to note that India and Israel have cooperated in anti-terrorist activity for the past two years, after all, they both face the common threat of violence from terrorists that espouse an Islamic fundamentalist ideology. Why shouldn't Hindus feel charitable toward Jewish charities?
That aside, I give to many charities that are faith-based other than my own faith. When I consider such gifts, positive attitudes toward Jews in particular and Israel in general are a determining factor in my willingness to support these causes.
