Our new poll addresses the issue of the US Electoral College - this year Hillary Clinton received just under three million more popular votes than Donald Trump achieved but he won the presidency on the strength of electoral vote success in major states: Florida, Pennsylvania , Ohio and Michigan. Should the Electoral College, established in 1787 and, shamefully, designed to circumvent slave populations, be abolished?
